As an air lime expert, Weber Tradical offers limes that are specifically suited to old buildings — Batidol, Chaubat, Chaubor — and draw on the wealth of our heritage. They come in different formats: powder, wash, paste or granules. We also offer a whole range of Tradical branded products containing a high proportion of air lime — including hempcretes with excellent thermal and hygrothermal properties — that are the result of 20 years of research and experience. All of these safe, quality solutions are an inherent part of our DNA.

Weber, our craft
Under the Tradical brand, Weber provides lime solutions such as mortars, washes or renders for exterior and interior masonry, and rendering for all types of architecture, from the heritage and historic building sectors to new building sectors.
Weber is also doing research on eco-friendly materials by broadening the scope of application for Tradical lime. The potential of this fundamentally natural material has been combined with bio-based materials to produce the first hempcretes, with performance ratings that far exceed the requirements of the current French thermal regulations (RT).

The Lhoist Group includes 14 quarries and factories spread throughout France.
Weber’s head office and factory are based in Besançon, Eastern France. This site manufactures the Tradical lime product ranges and has an R&D laboratory specialising in the building sector.
